About GetCharacterized
Our Story
At GetCharacterized we love history and we love literature and movies. And we are also hard core computer graphics and special effects geeks. So, we decided to bring all of this together and create products that portray you, a real person, dressed as a fictional character from a number of historical periods.
We painstakingly incorporate your face into an existing character in our catalog accurately matching the orientation, size, shape, and lighting of the original face, so that your face perfectly matches the original character.
How does it work?
It’s quite simple, really.
You have two options:
- You can choose a character from our catalog and use as-is on a mug, canvas or other products
- You can turn into that character by sending us a photo of your face, and we turn you into that character. Then we put you on a mug, canvas, or other products
You do this through our Etsy Shop.
